Ex-QUIET RIOT Drummer To Perform With LED ZEPPELIN Tribute Band

January 21, 2010

Former QUIET RIOT drummer Frankie Banali will perform a LED ZEPPELIN classic with the ZEPPELIN tribute band LED ZEP AGAIN on Friday, January 22 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, California. He says, "Not only will this be a pleasure for me, but it will also include 'Mr. Jimmy' Sakurai-San from Tokyo, Japan. He is the single greatest and closest guitarist to the legendary Jimmy Page that I've ever heard and had the pleasure of recently jamming with."

FRANKIE BANALI & FRIENDS's "24/7/365 - The Tribute to Led Zeppelin" was honored in the "Tribute CD Of The Year" category at last year's Mavric Independent Music Awards, which celebrates the music community of Ventura County, California.

"24/7/365 - The Tribute to Led Zeppelin" is Banali's labor of love. Frankie invited many of his friends to join him on making a heartfelt tribute to his favorite drummer John Bonham and his band LED ZEPPELIN.

Video footage of Frankie Banali's "24/7/365" drum clinic, which was held on October 4, 2008 as part of the 11th annual Hollywood Vintage and Custom Drum Show in Hollywood, California, can be viewed below.
